CS2Plugins Privacy Policy

Last updated June 7, 2026

Information We Collect

CS2Plugins collects account information provided through GitHub sign-in, including your GitHub account identifier, username, display name, avatar, and email address when GitHub provides it.

We also store project listings, organization memberships, reports, claims, release metadata, and other information you submit while using the service.

How We Use Information

We use account and project information to operate the marketplace, show plugin ownership, manage claims, moderate content, sync GitHub repository and release metadata, and protect the service from abuse.

Public project information may be indexed, displayed, searched, and shared so server operators can discover CS2 plugins.

GitHub and Third-Party Services

CS2Plugins uses GitHub for authentication and repository import features. GitHub controls the information it sends to us and your GitHub account settings control what is available.

The site may link to GitHub, Discord, project websites, documentation, releases, and support communities. Those services have their own privacy practices.

Cookies and Sessions

We use cookies and similar session storage to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember locale preferences, and provide core site functionality.

We do not need sensitive personal information to let users browse public plugin listings.

Retention and Safety

We keep account, project, moderation, and claim records as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, maintain safety, and comply with legal obligations.

We may preserve reports, audit details, and moderation history after content is changed or removed when needed to protect users and maintainers.

Your Choices

You can update or remove your own project information from the site where the product allows it. You can also contact support for account, removal, ownership, or privacy requests.

Deleting or disconnecting your GitHub account may limit your ability to claim projects, import repositories, or manage published listings.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the latest version was posted.

Continued use of CS2Plugins after changes are posted means the updated policy applies to your use of the service.

Contact
