AegisAC

An open-source, server-side anti-cheat for Counter-Strike 2, built with SwiftlyS2.

AegisAC is a modular anti-cheat designed to help CS2 server administrators detect suspicious player behaviour, identify unfair gameplay and protect their servers without requiring any client-side software.

Built with C# and .NET 10, AegisAC uses server-side game data, player behaviour analysis and detection systems designed around CS2's subtick architecture.

Detection Modules

AegisAC currently includes 10 dedicated detection modules:

Aim & Combat Detection

• Aimbot — Detects suspicious aiming patterns, unnatural aim convergence, recoil control macros (RCS), abnormal accuracy and rapid-fire exploits.
• Silent Aim — Identifies discrepancies between camera angles and attack angles, including suspicious subtick behaviour and post-shot snap returns.
• Triggerbot — Analyses target acquisition, reaction timing and suspicious automated firing patterns.
• Aimlock — Detects suspicious target tracking, including tracking enemies through walls.

Movement & Input Integrity

• Anti-Aim — Detects invalid view angles, spinbot behaviour and suspicious yaw patterns.
• Movement — Detects automated bunnyhopping, Snap-Tap / Nulls behaviour and AutoStrafe patterns.
• Exploits — Identifies suspicious user command manipulation, subtick timestamp tampering, desubtick behaviour, invalid input and name-changing abuse.

Client Integrity & Protection

• DLL Injection Scanner — Inspects client game event subscriptions for known suspicious or blacklisted entries associated with internal cheats.
• CVar Scanner — Checks critical client console variables for suspicious modifications.
• Anti-WallHack — Server-side entity visibility filtering designed to prevent clients from receiving information about enemies hidden behind world geometry.

Additional Systems

• Conviction Engine — Aggregates evidence across multiple detection modules, taking score decay and distinct detection sources into account.
• Staff Alerts — Sends private, real-time in-game notifications to authorized server staff.
• Discord Integration — Delivers detection notifications and incident information through Discord webhooks.
• Incident Telemetry — Records detection evidence for investigation and analysis.
• Flexible Punishment System — Supports configurable detection responses, including logging, staff notifications, kicks and bans.

Designed for Server Administrators

• Fully server-side; no client downloads or background software required.
• Built for SwiftlyS2.
• Modular configuration with independent detection settings.
• Configurable punishment behaviour.
• In-game diagnostic commands and status monitoring.
• Live configuration reloading.
• Designed to account for CS2's subtick mechanics.
